a grand future awaits you

The Bible is rich with promises from God, offering comfort, hope, and assurance. They reveal His commitment to strengthen, guide, and bless those who trust in Him and seek righteousness.

From Genesis to Revelation, God’s promises encompass protection, forgiveness, and eternal life. John 3:16 assures salvation through faith, while Revelation 21:4 promises an end to pain and death.

The following verses inspire faith and perseverance amid today’s trials—

“In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever.” (Daniel 2:44)

“When you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all things happen.” (Luke 21:31, 32)

“They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4)

“But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time came for the dead to be judged, and to reward your slaves the prophets and the holy ones and those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” (Revelation 11:18)

“Jehovah of armies will prepare for all the peoples a banquet of rich dishes, a banquet of fine wine, of rich dishes filled with marrow, of fine, filtered wine. He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:6, 8)

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

“Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.” (Job 33:25)

“Remember your Grand Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of distress come and the years arrive when you will say: ‘I have no pleasure in them.’” (Ecclesiastes 12:1)

“Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, so that I can make a reply to him who taunts me.” (Proverbs 27:11)

Promised Freedom—Through God’s Grace and Christ’s Sacrifice

What challenges do you face each day?

  • Are you a family head balancing many responsibilities?
  • A single parent working hard to provide?
  • A young person at school dealing with bullying?
  • Someone coping with poor health or the effects of ageing?

Most people are facing something difficult. Many Christians are enduring several trials at once.

“ 16 Therefore we do not give up. But even if the man we are outside is wasting away, certainly the man we are inside is being renewed day by day, 17 For though the tribulation is momentary and light, it works out for us a glory that is of more and more surpassing greatness and is everlasting;18 while we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

We take comfort in knowing that Jehovah sees our struggles. He values our loyalty and endurance. He has wonderful blessings ahead.

“‘For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope. And you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.’” (Jeremiah 29:11, 12)

Jesus also cares deeply about us. As we carry out our Christian responsibilities, he reassures us:

“I am with you.” (Matthew 28:20)

When we pause to reflect on the freedom that God’s Kingdom will bring, our hope grows stronger. So does our resolve to endure.

“For the creation is waiting with eager expectation for the revealing of the sons of God… in the hope that the creation itself will also be set free from enslavement to corruption and have the glorious freedom of the children of God.” (Romans 8:19-21)
