PEACEFUL BEAUTIFUL PLANET (1)

the Impact of God’s Kingdom

When you repeat the Lord’s Prayer, you say the familiar phrase, “Let your kingdom come.” (Matthew 6:9-13). Have you ever paused to think about what those words truly demand? Do you actually want that divine government to arrive?

Scripture reveals that the arrival of God’s rule will bring sweeping transformations to earth, culminating in a beautiful and peaceful paradise. Before that ultimate goal is reached, specific events must first occur.

Human Political Rule Replaced

According to the Bible, God’s kingdom will completely replace human governments. It won’t operate as a world federation or a continuation of the modern United Nations concept. It won’t act as a complex debating club where delegates push competing political beliefs.

Biblical prophecies outline what the arrival of this righteous administration will mean. Daniel’s prophecy states, “The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin…. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.” (Daniel 2:44).

This passage compares God’s kingdom to a stone that shatters human power structures to dust, expanding until it fills the whole world (Daniel 2:34-45).

Whether people welcome this event doesn’t alter its certainty, as it represents the set purpose of Almighty God. Your personal attitude determines whether its arrival brings hardship or blessing. When you genuinely desire this kingdom, your actions align with its principles.

Not everyone welcomes this transition. The Psalmist observed, “The kings of earth take their stand and high officials themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one.” (Psalm 2:2). Authorities who risk losing their positions often resist this shift and attempt to silence those who preach faith in divine intervention.

Many people whose wealth depends on a competitive system don’t want it to end. Celebrities, entertainers, and sports figures who thrive on public praise may resist losing the platforms that give them fame. Modern nationalists and those focused on ethnic pride hesitate to lose their status, even though under God’s rule there is “neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave, freeman.” (Colossians 3:11).

Despite these selfish views, the necessity for total international reform grows clearer daily. God’s answer to human struggle is replacing the corrupt order with His righteous arrangement. The current social and economic structure will draw to a close through the removal of human governments. The Sovereign Ruler promises, “Look! I am making all things new.” (Revelation 21:5).

If you care for your Creator, your family, your neighbors, and your own life, you’ll look forward to this transition and its lasting benefits.

The Complete End of War

Under the direction of God’s kingdom, “nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.” (Isaiah 2:4; Micah 4:3). Imagine a world free from the destruction of cities and the loss of innocent life. Instead, people everywhere “will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” (Psalm 37:11).

Most people desire security, yet endless international talks yield few lasting results. Stockpiling destruction weapons fails to create genuine safety, and using violence to protest government policy only adds to the harm. Global institutions haven’t established lasting harmony, but God offers a dependable alternative.

God’s pledge to establish security doesn’t rely on political bargaining or disarmament treaties. As the Almighty, Jehovah controls every resource in the universe. Through His kingdom, “he is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth.” (Psalm 46:9). He accomplishes this by removing every element that disrupts order.

Beyond dismantling corrupt political systems, Scripture warns that people who engage in hatred, bitter arguments, or immoral conduct “will not inherit God’s kingdom.” (Galatians 5:19-21). To enjoy the peaceful life offered by God’s rule, individuals must eliminate those destructive traits through diligent study of biblical standards.

The Removal of False Religion

The arrival of God’s kingdom also marks the end of false forms of worship. Praying for the kingdom directly requests this outcome.

The Creator accepts no rival devotion. As stated in the Ten Commandments, “You must not have any other gods against my face… because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion.” (Exodus 20:3-5; Isaiah 33:22).

This principle requires significant changes across the world. Just as in ancient times, “there are those who are called ‘gods,’ whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords.'” (1 Corinthians 8:5). Millions of deities exist across global traditions, dividing billions of worshippers. A unified society requires the removal of these conflicting beliefs.

Jehovah will also end the division found within hundreds of conflicting religious denominations. True worship of the creator must follow a single, approved standard. Scripture explains that there is “one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all.” (Ephesians 4:5, 6; 1 Corinthians 1:10-13).

When you pray for God’s kingdom to come, you’re asking for the removal of any religious structure that strays from truth. With thousands of conflicting beliefs around the world, relying on tradition alone presents a huge risk to your future.

Instead of taking chances with your life, examine your beliefs against biblical truth. Connecting with dedicated teachers can help you study the Scriptures to discover the path that leads to everlasting life (John 8:32).
