trust the One that knows us best

Look around you… it doesn’t take a genius to realise things aren’t going well, does it? We’re facing crises on every front, from economic instability to social unrest. Yet, whenever a new disaster strikes, where do we turn? We run straight back to the very human governments that failed us in the first place. We keep pinning our hopes on politicians, desperately believing they’ll solve our problems. Spoiler alert… they can’t and they won’t.

The Illusion of the Political Saviour

It’s a strange cycle. We watch leaders make promises they don’t keep, yet we line up at the ballot box hoping this time will be different. Maybe it’s because people don’t want to admit we’re steering our own ship into a storm. Over 80% of people feel frustrated with their leadership, yet we still expect those same institutions to rescue us. We expect miracles from broken systems. As the old saying goes, ‘if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got.’

have faith in the One Who Knows Us Best

Governments aren’t designed to save us… they’re designed to manage systems (albeit badly). When we rely entirely on them, we hand over our personal responsibility. But there’s a better way. Instead of placing our faith in flawed human systems, we need to trust the One that knows us best… our creator!

Unlike politicians who shift with the wind, our creator’s guidance is steady and unchanging. When we align our lives with that divine purpose, we find a peace that no government policy could ever provide. If we want a better world, we have to stop waiting for a political saviour. It’s time to realise that the system is broken… it’s just an endless trail of failure! We need to start looking up instead of looking to leaders who are just as lost as we are!
