The Choice… No Future or a Bright Future

Scientists predict that the expanding universe will eventually run out of energy and grow dark, or collapse upon itself, ending all life. They acknowledge that science fails to answer the ultimate question of hope.

Realistically, if we credit our existence entirely to evolution—eliminating God and moral restraints—we wipe out any real purpose for our lives. We become of no more ultimate consequence than ants, weeds, or cockroaches. Having stripped humanity of inherent meaning, evolutionists often feel pressured to invent their own. Prominent scientists attempt to derive hope and dignity from the idea of humans ascending an evolutionary ladder toward some future pinnacle of grandeur.

However, this empty philosophy offers little comfort. If our final destination—and that of our descendants millions of years from now—is eternal oblivion, then nothing truly matters, does it? Evolutionists are simply grasping for new crutches to quiet the inherent human need for God. Ultimately, we must face a harsh reality: either place our hope in God or relinquish hope entirely.

In stark contrast, the Bible offers profound hope. God designed the earth to last forever as a beautiful paradise inhabited by obedient people. Just as no one designs an exquisite garden merely to destroy it, God’s purpose for creation will not be defeated. As Isaiah 46:11 declares, God will absolutely carry out what He has purposed.

His deep concern for humanity is reflected in His promise to bring about a beautiful reality through His kingdom. Revelation 21:3-4 assures us:

” 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

– Revelation 21:3,4

While the evolutionary alternative offers nothing but hopeless oblivion, the biblical truth promises everlasting life in a restored paradise world. Every person must eventually make their own choice. Before you make yours, please ensure that you are fully informed!
