A Warning the World Cannot Afford to Ignore

The biblical account of Noah is not just a dramatic story of survival; it is a lesson in listening, acting, and taking warnings seriously. Long before the flood, Noah built an ark because he believed God’s warning about things not yet seen (Hebrews 11:7).

Our modern era echoes this narrative. History marks 1914 as a monumental turning point when global stability vanished. Remarkably, sincere Bible students had identified this year decades in advance through Scripture. Today, the very signs Jesus foretold—global wars, food shortages, disease, and societal decay—are actively playing out (Matthew 24:3).

The Urgency Has Never Been Greater

Jesus directly compared our time to the days of Noah, noting that life carried on normally until it was too late (Matthew 24:37). People back then ate, drank, and planned, entirely indifferent to the coming danger. Today, the noise of daily life and endless news cycles create a similar temptation to look away. Yet, the warning stands.

The Choice Before Us

Noah survived because he made a deliberate, active choice to trust God, even when his surroundings offered no physical proof. True faith is not passive; it changes how we live.

“Happy is the one who reads aloud and those who hear the words of this prophecy and who observe the things written in it…” (Revelation 1:3)

The world today has no shortage of information, but it lacks the willingness to act on it. Just like Noah’s generation, our lives depend on taking the warning seriously. The question is no longer whether the warning is real, but rather: Are you paying attention?
