a world gone wrong

What Are “the Last Days”?

Do you ever pause and ask yourself what tomorrow holds — not just for you, but for the people you love most? In a world saturated with such awful news, political upheaval, and social unrest, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and uncertain. Yet the answers we search for have been written down for thousands of years, quietly waiting in the pages of the Bible… yes, the Bible… you know, that seemingly ‘outdated old book’ that no one ever reads, gathering dust on the shelf.

A Handbook for Life, Not a Relic of the Past

We live in an age of distraction and noise — endless opinions, fake news, conflicting beliefs, and growing uncertainty about who we are and where we’re headed. Yet this one book, written across centuries, continues to speak with startling precision into our modern society.

The Bible is not a dusty artefact; it’s a handbook for life – addressing human nature, justice, suffering, purpose, and hope with a depth no algorithm can replicate. Its warnings about pride, greed, and moral drift read like today’s headlines.

A Question That Has Echoed Through the Ages

Long, long before our modern chaos took shape, the disciples of Jesus Christ sat with him and asked a question that still resonates deeply today. They wanted to know what signs would mark the end of the current system of things and signal the arrival of God’s Kingdom in full power. Jesus was honest with them — he made clear that only God knew the precise moment.

However, he and other Bible writers did describe specific, recognisable conditions that would serve as unmistakable proof that those days had finally arrived.

“In the last days, critical times hard to deal with will be here.”

(2 Timothy 3….1)

Something Shifted in 1914

Most people alive today sense that something fundamentally changed in the world around the early twentieth century. According to Bible prophecy, 1914 marked a pivotal turning point – the moment Christ began ruling as King in heaven. What followed was not peace, but conflict on an unprecedented scale. Satan the Devil, defeated in a heavenly war, was cast down to the earth, filled with fury and knowing his time is short.

“Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.”

(Revelation 12….12)

The Warning That Demands Our Attention

Just as Noah faced a world that refused to listen, we too live in a time that demands urgent attention. Noah did not merely hear the warning — he acted on it, and his life depended entirely on that response. The urgency of his situation was absolute, and the consequences of ignoring it were catastrophic for those around him. No doubt about it, the whole world needs to heed the warning just as Noah did – our lives depend on it.

“Just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of Man will be.”

(Matthew 24….37)

The last days are not a distant concept buried in ancient text, they are the world you wake up to every single morning — the headlines, the conflict, the moral decay, and the growing sense that something is deeply wrong.

This warning has existed for thousands of years, carefully preserved in scripture for precisely this moment in human history. The question is not whether that warning exists — it’s whether you’re willing to stop, listen, and act upon it before it is too late!
